Tempest Fall follows a scientist on his way through interdimensional portals, chasing the seemingly endless storm that is tearing the world apart. Once a simple researcher of weather, he was forced into becoming more than what he thought he could ever be as he jumps headlong into the unknown.
Around buildings from the future, through the clouds, and even through giant food?, he won't stop until he's solved the mystery of what's happening and why. Only you can determine if he completes his goal.

Favorite Parts
The first game I ever worked on with a group to pull a narrative together for.
Experiencing the difficulties of working in a finicky 3D software through others.
Learning through personal experience what goes on behind the creation of a game.
Story
Unlike with Fireflies where I was the only person working on narrative, Tempest had no set direction other than 'reach the goal before the timer runs out' which left everything up to me and the group of three other people who helped bring together the idea of a meteorologist studying an odd weather patter that turns into trying to escape the storm and find out the meaning behind it. Riding the fine line between danger and discovery in equal measure.
Teamwork
Working in a group to come up with a plausible narrative to go with the random and in no way connected levels that the modelers were making was made much easier because there were other people dedicated to coming up with something that could make sense. We could easily bounce ideas off each other and solidify them fairly quickly since there were only three of us since our fourth member worked on the sound design elements like the music.
If this project was cool then check out this one!
Adventure Awaits is what happens when given the freedom to explore every possible path, within reasonable time constraints, and make something that can have multiple different places lead to the same outcome. It is also the largest Twine project that I have made so far.
